Building Visual Dashboards from Raw Biomedical Data using Google AI Studio, AIM AHEAD DICB Program, Laboratory of Experimental Medicine, University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine
Register now to attend the virtual ARCH Workshop, "Building Visual Dashboards from Raw Biomedical Data using Google AI Studio," hosted by Kartik Saini.
Workshop Description:
In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will upload biomedical CSV files, such as gene expression data or patient outcomes, and use Gemini in Google AI Studio to generate informative visualizations like bar charts, scatter plots, and Kaplan-Meier survival curves, all through prompting, no coding required.
Date/Time: Thursday, August 21, 2025 - 1:00 PM PT / 3:00 PM CT / 4:00 PM ET
Location: Virtual Workshop. The Zoom link will be provided upon registration.
Prerequisites for Workshop:
- Basic understanding of biomedical datasets (e.g., gene expression, clinical trials)
- Familiarity with CSV/tabular data formats
- Google AI Studio account (free tier sufficient)
What You'll Learn:
- Prompt-based data visualization (bar plots, line graphs, scatter plots, survival curves)
- Descriptive data analysis using natural language instructions
- Interpreting AI-generated visual outputs for biomedical insights
