Workshop Description:
This hands-on workshop introduces core Python skills for working with structured healthcare data using Jupyter notebooks and common data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib. Participants will practice loading, cleaning, and exploring datasets through a guided case study analyzing laboratory test data for patients with Type 2 diabetes.
Date/Time: Thursday, February 19, 2026 - 12:00 PM PT / 2:00 PM CT / 3:00 PM ET
Location: Virtual Workshop. The Zoom link will be provided upon registration.
Prerequisites for Workshop:
- Designed for participants with basic Python or data analysis experience; no prior machine-learning background is required.
What You'll Learn:
- How AutoML streamlines data preparation, model training, and performance tuning
- Hands-on use of AutoGluon to rapidly build and optimize predictive models
- Ways automated workflows reduce manual configuration while improving model accuracy
