Register now to attend the virtual ARCH Workshop, "NLP-Informed Feature Engineering for EHR Data" hosted by Billy Troy Wooton.
Workshop Description:
Learn to extract, unify, and transform structured and unstructured EHR data using NLP and quantization techniques to build machine-readable features for machine learning and clustering.
Date/Time: Thursday, March 27, 2025 - 3:00 PM CT/4:00 PM ET
Location: Virtual Workshop. Zoom link will be provided upon registration.
Prerequisites for Workshop:
1. Access to a computer and a good internet connection.
2. Familiarity with programming and computational notebooks a plus but not a strict requirement.
Datasets & Tools:
Datasets: Synthetic EHR data generated with Synthea
Tools: Python, Jupyter notebooks, Binder, Google Colab, Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn.
Expected Outcomes:
Participants learn how to transform raw EHR data into structured, machine-readable features for downstream analytics and ML applications.
