Call for Mentors, AIM-AHEAD

PAID Mentorship Opportunities! The AIM-AHEAD Collaborative Supplemental Training Programs are recruiting mentors for the 2025 Cohorts. Selected mentors will be awarded a stipend of $4,000 to support two trainees throughout the 8-month training program (January-September 2025). Mentors will meet biweekly with mentees to provide career and professional development support, field expertise, and advice. Mentors should have a Ph.D., MD, or equivalent qualification (such as PharmD., DNP, or Dr.PH) and must be associated with an organization (educational institution, private sector, community organization, etc). Mentors will select which program(s) they would like to be considered for as a mentor and will be chosen from a pool of AIM-AHEAD Mentor applicants. The AIM-AHEAD Training Program Mentor Application will be open from December 9, 2024 - January 6, 2025. All selected Mentors will be notified by January 20, 2025. Mentors will begin meeting with their assigned trainees by the end of January 2025. *Mentors may participate as a mentor in only ONE AIM-AHEAD training program. AIM-AHEAD-funded Coordinating Center Personnel or AIM-AHEAD-funded Awardees (MPIs, PIs, Co-Investigators, trainees, other personnel) are eligible to apply, but if accepted, they will not receive the stipend.
